Who is behind this
The work behind SearchyFound is older than SearchyFound.
Craig Tuttle has spent thirteen-plus years in SEO and digital marketing. Hundreds of clients, from local service businesses to national brands, including about a decade running the business side of it and not just the SEO side. SearchyFound itself is new.
13+ years
In SEO and digital marketing, full time, without a break.
Hundreds of clients
Local service businesses, national brands, and plenty in between.
About a decade on the business side
Payroll, clients and delivery, not only the SEO itself. It is where the case for building this one leaner came from.
Director of SEO
At a national agency, plus SEO leadership roles at several others.
Where it runs from
Based in Rochester, New York.
Craig Tuttle runs SearchyFound from Rochester. Most of the last thirteen years has been spent on businesses like the ones it is built for — contractors, practices and firms that live or die on being found in their own town.
SearchyFound is a small company on purpose, and it is not trying to become a large one. The work is the product. Everything else is overhead somebody has to pay for.

Craig Tuttle, in Rochester.
Where your money goes
There is less here on purpose.
A traditional agency has an account manager, a sales team, an office and the layers above them. All of it gets paid before anyone touches your website.
- An account manager assigned to your account
- A sales team
- Handoff meetings between departments
- A new proposal every time something needs attention
- An upsell for the thing that should have been included
What is left is the work — the website, the search, the map, the content, and the monitoring that keeps all of it moving.
Routine production, monitoring and reporting run on systems built for exactly that, which is what keeps the hours down. The judgement calls are still made by someone who has been doing this for thirteen years.
Yours to keep either way
